Signers鈥� Hall
One of the Center鈥檚 most popular and iconic attractions, Signers鈥� Hall invites you to sign the Constitution alongside 42 life-size, bronze statues of the Founding Fathers who participated in the signing on September 17, 1787.

The first exhibit in America devoted to exploring how constitutional clashes over slavery set the stage for the Civil War, and how the nation transformed the Constitution to more fully embrace the Declaration of Independence鈥檚 promise of freedom and equality.

The exhibit traces the triumphs and struggles that led to the ratification of the 19th Amendment, and features some of the many women who transformed constitutional history鈥攊ncluding Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Alice Paul, and Ida B. Wells鈥攁nd allows visitors to better understand the long fight for women鈥檚 suffrage.
